November 1st – Solemnity of All Saints

This Monday the Church celebrates the Feast of All Saints. In the United States, this is NOT a holy day of obligation this year because it falls on a Monday. This is one of three holy days in which there is not the obligation to attend Mass if they fall on Saturday or Monday: All Saints [November 1st], the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God [January 1st], and the Assumption [August 15th]. Also, in most of the country, except for the northeast and the State of Nebraska, the Ascension is celebrated on the following Sunday!

Parish Fair
